The Brainiacs STEM & Robotics creativity pack is what we call our training and enhancement package operated www.letslearn.ng. The Creativity pack aims to engage children and young adults (from age 6 to 24) with supplemental skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics [STEM]. Thus giving them the skills and motivation they need to create a better future.
Our programs are designed to prioritize fun, active engagement, and an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving and creativity. We focus on activities that encourage creativity and innovation, placing a strong emphasis on STEM application. Presently, some of the modules we offer via various packages include:
Systems Design – Electronics and IoT
Computer Programming & Apps development
3D Modelling and 3D Printing
Game Modding and Development
We run a project-based learning approach to foster teamwork and encourage students to build real solutions to everyday problems.
The creativity pack is delivered through one or a combination of the following:
- STEM Labs:
We help our clients to set up STEM Labs within their schools such that they could incorporate STEM education into their curriculum.
- Train the trainer:
While we set up STEM Labs, we just don’t walk away. We train teachers in the schools to deliver the modules. We go further to visit every school we set up to ensure the quality of delivery
- Afterschool Enhancement:
For schools that are unable to set up dedicated STEM laboratories, we set up After-School enhancement programs where our staff go to partner schools on agreed dates to train pupils/students that sign up for the package.
Our camps provide opportunity to the wider community beyond schools where we have set STEM Laboratories and After school enhancement. Camps focus on STEM theme that teaches participants problem solving, creativity and innovation.
Workshops / Seminars
We ensure alignment with our wider stakeholders and share knowledge we organise seminars and workshops. This is all geared towards creating a makers’ community in Nigeria. We stand a chance to change the fortune our country if we equip our present and future generations with the skills to manipulate our resources both human and capital.
